Infants

Infant Crawler Rooms

We have two infant rooms. The younger room is designed for infants ranging from two months to approximately ten months. The infants move up to the crawler room when they are pulling themselves up and crawling well. All children are moved up when they are developmentally ready. They are in the crawler room for about six months. The ratio is three children to one teacher. In both of these rooms the schedule is based on the needs of each individual child.

Toddlers

Toddler And Two Year Old Rooms

We have two toddler rooms. The younger room has a range in age from sixteen months to two years old. In the younger Toddler room there are many activities including story time, water play coloring, songs and much more. All of the activities are flexible and based on the mood of the children. The children move up to the Two year old room when they are developmentally ready. This class has a range in age from two to two and a half years old. In the older room, the curriculum is designed to introduce colors, shapes of the alphabet, weather and nursery rhymes. The children learn a lot through interactive play, activities, stories and weekly themes. The ratio is two teachers with nine children in the younger room and three teachers with thirteen in the older room.

Pre-school

PRE-I     PRE-II     PRE-K

There are three pre-school classes. Pre-I is a mixed group of two and a half to three year olds with a ratio of one teacher to five children. Pre-II is a group of three year olds and Pre-K is a class of four year olds. The ratio is one teacher to ten children in both of these classes. We do not fill our Pre-II classroom to maximum capacity. In the pre-school classes the children learn colors, shapes, numbers and letters. Eventually the children learn to write the alphabet and their names.  Once each child is ready, pre-reading skills and phonics are introduced. Math, Science, Social Studies as well as Arts and Crafts are an important part of each class.

Kindergarten / After School Program

Kindergarten

A full day certified kindergarten program is offered with a December cut off date.

We also offer an after school kindergarten program. We provide transportation from local schools in several of the surrounding towns.

Summer camp programs for Kindergarten and First Graders are available. These programs include field trips, arts and crafts, cooking, sports, swimming and much more...

After School Program

We enroll children from first grade thru eighth grade. T.L.C. provides transportation from many local schools in several of the surrounding towns. The children have time for homework and fun including computers, games, arts, crafts and outside time.

Summer camps are offered for children through the age of fourteen. These camps include field trips, arts, crafts, sports, swimming and much more...
